Pulse Jet Filters Ltd.
Mixlance (Pulse Jet Filters) Ltd is a subsidiary of Mixlance (Technical Services) Ltd.
Pulse Jet was established specifically to design and build filtration systems.
Extensive research and development has been undertaken to develop the new filtration system to be demonstrated within this action.
"Jet Stream 700-series of Pulse Jet Filters"
With a reduction in emissions standards from 100mg/m3, reducing to 25mg/m3 for new plant and environmental pressures mounting, Mixlance have designed the "Jet Stream 700-series of Pulse Jet Filters" for use with their range of Batch Heater Coating Plants and are now able to offer the range to the roadstone coating and quarrying industry.
The new range of filters have been specifically designed to achieve consistent volume flows under all plant operating conditions and are ideally suitable for use with asphalt and Batch Heater Coating Plants.
The new filter utilises many state of the art design features including:
-
A compressed air pulse - jet bag cleaning system which almost removes the vast majority of cold cleaning air entering into the filter, thereby minimising dew point problems and short term bag damage.
The cleaning pulse merely forces existing cleaned hot air back down the bags.
- Excellent inlet air distribution system to minimise local bag wear.
- Low air to cloth ratios, giving filtering speeds of less than 1.7 metre/min
The filter design is self-contained and it's performance is not impaired by production problems associated with hot asphalt mixes using high moisture sand which pressurises some existing filter designs.
The steady state conditions within the filter facilitated by the Pulse Jet design, assists in a more consistent dust removal pattern and a predictable steady low pressure drop, offering the following advantages:
- Consistent set air volumes and temperatures.
- Consistent lower operating costs.
- Extended bag life.
- Improved filter reliability.
- Consistent outlet emission control.
The "Jet Stream 700-Series" is sized between 10,000mtr3 per hour and 100,000 mtr3 hour, with inlet temperatures ranging from ambient up to 2200C operating and occasional peaks using a wide range of filter media to suit the application.
The "Jet Stream 700-Series" can be supplied with a range of inlet and outlet configurations, skimmer pre-cleaners, a wide range of dust discharge devices and conditioners interconnecting ductwork, fans, stacks and control gear.
