A leading company within software design, they specialise in the writing of protocols for industrial processes such as batch heaters.
Within the project Batching and Blending will develop and write the protocol to ensure the integration and harmonisation of all process elements, together with the associated measurement and testing to confirm the efficacy of the new IT system and the achieved savings.

Kendrick Design is an established design company who have worked with Mixlance for over 10 years, supporting the ongoing updates required on their existing batch heaters.
Kendrick will bring full technical drawings and specifications for the modular plant design to the project, which will enable the plant to be fully enclosed and mobile.

Marini SPA is an Italian based company with 340 employees.
The company manufactures large asphalt plants, which they install across many European states.
The benefits offered by the plant being demonstrated in this project will address a market Marini do not currently satisfy.
As part of the project Marini will develop the sales and marketing of the system across Europe, outside the UK.

Nu-Way Ltd is a British SME employing 152 staff.
The company specialises in designing and building specialist industrial burners.
Within their research and development department Nu-Way have designed a unique burner, which can be modulated as required.
Within the project Nu-Way will be demonstrating this new burner within a full-scale operation, testing consumption rates and the possible interaction with other plant elements and technology systems.
Rob Hudson Consultancy specialises in environmental, energy and engineering services to the quarrying industry.
With over 30 years experience Bob Hudson provides environmental technical support to companies within the coating plant industry and advises on the application of EPA standards, BAT's and European Directives.
The consultancy will control all environmental aspects of the project, including the monitoring of emissions for compliance requirements and the expected reductions.

RMC Aggregates is a pan-European company with over 30,000 employees worldwide, recognised as a market leader in delivering coated products to end-users through production facilities, which include traditional asphalt plants and batch heaters.
Contribution to this project will be through the provision of a site on which to built the demonstration plant and the expertise and facilities of their testing laboratory.
RMC will be testing the proposed 2000 mixtures from the demonstration project for conformity to National and European specifications, together with testing and validating the levels of recycled materials that can be used with such mixtures.

Rossi Gearmotors Ltd has 20 employees and is part of a pan-European company, recognised as a market leader in the development and manufacture of drive systems for heavy industry.
Within the project they will be developing new drive systems for the plant in the demonstration action, together with undertaking measurement of the reliability and effectiveness of the system for inclusion in the project dissemination materials.

W T Parker Electrical Contractors Ltd is a British company with 645 employees, specialising in the field of commercial electrical installations, including the current breed of batch heaters.
W T Parker will be developing motors and invertors, together with a 'plug-and-go' installation system for the modular units to ensure the objectives of this demonstration action can be met.
Once operational, W T Parker's will be conducting measurement activities on the electrical usage of all parts of the system, to quantify and verify energy reductions achieved and the subsequent financial savings.
